Islamabad, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on Thursday reiterated foundation for Pakistan’s continued pursuit of its key foreign policy goals on the basis of sovereign equality, mutual respect, mutual benefit, non-interference and peaceful settlement of all issues.
She said this at briefing in Ministry of Foreign Affairs for heads of diplomatic missions on foreign policy priorities of the government. She also spoke about smooth transition to new elected Prime Minister and government’s abiding commitment to strengthening democracy. She was accompanied by Law Minister Farooq H. Naek, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Malik Amad Ahmed Khan and Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani.
Law Minister reiterated government’s commitment to an independent judicial system and respect for the rule of law.
