Kabul: British Prime Minister David Cameron, Pakistan Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Afghan President Hamid Karzai at their trilateral Summit Thursday in Kabul agreed on concerted efforts to establish peace in Afghanistan.
Addressing the Summit Prime Minister Ashraf said Pakistan will continue to play its role for regional peace. “A stable and peaceful Afghanistan is mandatory not just for Pakistan but the entire region,” he stressed.
Premier Cameron termed Pakistan’s role for regional peace as “significant. Islamabad is playing role of front-line country in the war on terror. International community hails Pakistan’s role in the war on terror.”
President Karzai said strong Pak-Afghan relations are necessary for regional peace. Afghanistan has better relations with Pakistan, he added.
