Karachi : Pakistan”s Law Minister, Farooq H Naek, has said court orders do not apply to the president and the prime minister of the country, as their official decisions have Constitutional protection and cannot be challenged.
The Express Tribune quoted Naek, as saying that running a government is the executive”s job, making a law is the parliament”s job, while the court”s job is to ensure the implementation of the laws.
He, however, added that the government respects the Supreme Court and does not want any clash of institutions.
