Karachi, Ditching the American terror war is in the best interest of Pakistan, said Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Amir Syed Munawar Hasan addressing a public Iftar gathering in Karachi on Monday.
He said Pakistani army should not launch a military operation in North Wazirstan on the dictation of America. He said if such an operation was launched the perception of people about the national security apparatus would take a wrong turn. He said our leadership has to understand that this is not our war, but the war of America, who wants to occupy the resources of Muslim Ummah. He said in order to ensure a free foreign policy we should have to ditch this terror war. He said leaving this foreighn war would result in stopping of CIA drone attacks, and also in resolving the Kashmir issue.
Hasan said the holy month of Ramzan is the month of reviving our faith. He said the battle of Badr was also fought on 17th of Ramzan, which was won by Muslims due to their unwavering faith despite the fact that they were small in number. He said it is the matter of refusing to obey before the worshipers of Satan. He said the forces occupying Muslim countries and killing Muslims populations and those aiding and abetting these forces were the forces of Satan. He said the policy of the United of States of America is to occupy the resources of Muslim Ummah in whole world.
He said that now the US is pressurizing Pakistani leadership to launch military operation in North Wazirstan. He said turning our guns towards our own chests is not solution to our problems. He said past our government had launched many such dictated military operations but failed to solve the issues in all these cases.
He said America wants to destabilize whole country with a military operation in North Wazirstan. He reminded that the patriotic tribes of North Wazirstan had freed the Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He said these patriotic Pakistanis and committed Muslims could not be pushed against the wall. He said assisting Nato through supply route restoration is tantamount to strength those hands who are fighting us. He said the defence budget is met through the taxes of people, who are not happy with the ongoing policies of the regime. He said our leaders have to understand the basis of the US policy in Pakistan is to pitch Pakistani people against their army. He said it is high time now to excuse with the American and NATO forces in Afghanistan and also recall the forces from the tribal areas.
Munawar said they do not believe in violence. They are peaceful people and strongly against violent agitations. However, he said that the policies of the sitting government are aimed to create anarchy in Pakistan. He said that the enemies of Pakistan want to make the world believe that the atomic assets of Pakistan are not in the safe hands.
The public gathering was arranged by the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi East chapter and also addressed their leader Osama bin Razi. A large number of people attended the Iftar gathering hosted at the Johar More of Rashid Minhas Road, Karachi.
