Lahore, Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan, has said the message of the Conquest of Makkah was that acquisition of power was a pre requisite for the enforcement of the Islamic system. As long as Allah s rebels and anti-Islam forces were in power, injustice, exploitation, price hike and poverty would continue, he said addressing a large Friday congregation at Mansoora.
He said that change in the country was not possible without the enforcement of the rule of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.
Syed Munawar Hasan said that the Muslim rulers trembling for the fear of the infidels must realize that wars were not won with the help of weapons; these were won with the power of faith and Allah s help. This was evident from the Battle of Badr, as well as, the Afghan Jehad where the US and NATO forces stood defeated despite their military might.
Hasan said that Islam not only guarded the rights of all the other religions and minorities but also provided them opportunities for growth.
The JI Ameer said that the country was facing a serious energy crisis that had ruined industry and agriculture but the rulers were least interested in its resolution.
The masses were suffering load shedding of up to twenty hours a day but were being charged inflated energy bills while theft of electricity was on the peak, he said.
He said that in spite of plunging the country into a serious crisis, the rulers hoped to win the next elections. However, he said, if the gang of four remained in power for another five years, the country would be completely ruined.
Syed Munawar said that the corruption mafia was exploiting the masses fully and the country s wealth had been concentrated into a few hands. The common man was unable to make both ends meet.
On one hand, the rulers were plundering national wealth and filling their coffers while on the other hand, billions of rupees from the public exchequer were being dolled out to the PPP Jeyalas in the name of Benazir Income Support program.
He said that Muslim rulers were acting as agents of the Kufr instead of working for the advancement of Islam.
He appealed to the faithful to pray for the Muslims of Kashmir Afghanistan, Burma and Palestine.
