Islamabad , Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that this government has not only been successful in carrying out land mark legislation but also formulated people oriented policies which will not only bring in change but also help improve the standard of living of people .
The government, he assured, will ensure that public money is transparently utilized for the welfare of the people.
The Prime Minister was talking to Parliamentarians who called on him separately at the PM s House on Thursday.The Prime Minister said that giving to the poor their due is only possible through good governance for which this government is striving to set highest standards.
Tolerance is essential for smooth functioning of democracy, and our four and half years is a testimony that we have shown patience and restraint as part of a policy of reconciliation said the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister said that government welcomes criticism as it considers it as a constructive contribution.
The Parliamentarians informed the Prime Minister about the status of ongoing development projects in their respective areas. They also apprised him about the issues of their constituencies.
The Parliamentarians who met the Prime Minister include Chaudhry Ghias Ahmed Mela, Minister of State for Women Resources Development, MNAs Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur, Liaqat Ali Khan, Lal Muhammad Khan and Sher Muhammad Baloch.
