Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Deputy General Secretary Imran Ismail has said that the lust for money has made the government blind.
Ismail slammed the government for considering the reopening of NATO supply routes to Afghanistan.
He described it as a disgrace that the government preferred dollars to the matter of 25 innocent soldiers’ being assassinated.
“NATO supply resumption confirms that the government is a slave to the U.S. and its allies”, The Daily Times quoted Ismail, as saying.
He said the move to restore supplies to NATO suggested that the country was in wrong hands, and a serious threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty.
Ismail also warned that if the government resumes the supply, the PTI would hold countrywide protests to resist this evil move.
