Shahdadpur, Sindh, Following the orders of District & Sessions Judge Sanghar, the Shahdadpur police conducted a raid at the agricultural fields of landlord Akbar Bhambhro and Sajan Bhambhro at village Kamil Laghari located at Shahdadpur-Shahpur Chakar Road and recovered 26 peasants including men, women and children.
A man Bhemo Bheel had filed application that his family members were kept in illegal confinement by the landlords and are made to work as bonded labour.
The freed peasants include Paroo Bheel, Dahraj Bheel, Loto, Shrimati Geeto, Kaki, Saweeta, Moni, 10-year Lelo, 2-year Ramala, Pahlaj and others.
The police produced the recovered peasants in court who allowed them to live on their own.
