Thatta, Sindh, Two tipplers died and one other were hospitalized in critical condition after they consumed heavy doses of Bhang, a preparation from the leaves and flowers of cannabis plant, at a Bhang drinking competition near here on Tuesday.
The competition was held at the coastal village of Dhandhari where top Bhang drinkers gathered from whole area. However, two competitors, Ashiq and Hashim Bhatti died after they drank too many glasses of the intoxicating drink, while one Muhammad Rahim fell unconscious and rushed to Civil Hospital Makli, where doctors were trying to save his life.
