Sialkot: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Chaudhary Abdul Majeed has urged all main stream political parties in Pakistan to be united and shun their political differences for the political and economical stability of the country, which was vital for strengthening the Kashmir Cause globally.
He stated this while addressing a press conference at Sialkot Press Club Sialkot on (Friday). AJK ministers and local PPP leaders were also present on this occasion.
AJK Prime Minister said that Pakistans political and economical stability could boost the Kashmir cause in the international community, saying that the PPP had ever advocated the Kashmir cause much effectively in the world.
He said that the PPP government was highlighting the Kashmir cause on different forums. He said that the Kashmiri people were with the people of Pakistan and they would not allow any one to see Pakistan with the evil eyes.Replying to a question, the AJK Prime Minister said that the international community could never ignore the sacrifices of the people of Occupied Jammu & Kashmir rendered for the freedom of held valley from the Indian yoke.
He expressed complete solidarity with the innocent and oppressed people of Occupied Jammu & Kashmir. He also expressed grave concern over the larger scale rising human rights violations, custodial killings and genocide of the innocent Kashmiri people in the Indian Held Valley.
Chaudhary Abdul Majeed also urged the UNO to ensure the early implementation on its prolonged promised resolutions for the peaceful amicable solution of the Kashmir dispute as per the aspirations of the Kashmiri people under the UNO resolutions.
He said that the early peaceful solution of Kashmir dispute has now become vital for ensuring sustainable peace in the Indo-Pak Sub Continent, as this prolonged delayed Kashmir dispute has also become a flash point between the two nuclear neighbours. He said that the people of Kashmir should be given their right to self-determination because it was guaranteed by the United Nations resolution and it is their birth right.
He added that the PPP was promoting the politics of reconciliation in the country, as the PPP leadership believes in dialogue and politics of reconciliation and invited major political parties for dialogues for steering the country out of crises.
AJK Prime Minister narrated that PPP-led government was committed to provide basic facilities to the people at their doorsteps for which all available resources were being utilized. He added that the government was making all out efforts to resolve the problems being confronted by the people.
