SIALKOT, Central Leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Dr. Farid Ahmed Paracha has urged the federal and provincial governments to ensure the early elections of the local bodies, saying that the JI demanded local bodies poll on party basis.
Addressing an important meeting of the party workers here, he said the government should remove the flaws from the existing LB system instead of intending to restore the old system of the local bodies.
He said that the JI could have any political and electoral alliance with any mainstream political party except the PPP, MQM and ANP ahead of the coming general elections and LB polls.
He said that incumbent rulers have snatched the right of living from the poor by present this fraudulent budget, he termed it a public-enemy budget alleging that the PPP government has miserably failed to resolve the prolonged perturbing problems being confronted by the masses.
