ISLAMABAD, Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) senior leader Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi said that reference would be filed for disqualification of the MNAs who did not cast their vote for the election of Prime Minister, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
He said this while talking to media representatives after luncheon hosted by PML-Q President Chaudahry Shujaat Hussain in honour of newly-elect Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf here on Saturday. Leaders of PPP and PML-Q also attended the luncheon.

Taking no exception to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz, Elahi blamed that he (Shahbaz) participated in the on-going anti-load shedding protest in which PML-Q lawmakers houses and property being damaged.
Answering a query, he expressed optimism that energy issue would be addressed, as they discussed the issue with the Prime Minister threadbare and agreed that the issue would be resolved jointly on priority basis.
To another query regarding non-participation of his party members in the election process, he vowed that strict action would be taken against those found guilty, however, adding that three MNAs were not attended the session due to their private engagement.
