Islamabad, Saudi Arabia will provide $100 million grant to Pakistan for the welfare of people of Pakistan. The grant would be released immediately on the directives of King Abdullah.
This was conveyed by Saudi Finance Minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assad in a telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Tuesday.
Prime Minister said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy excellent relations rooted in common faith‚ traditions, values. He said it would be his utmost endeavour to take these ties to new heights.
Governor of Tabuk Prince Fahd Bin Sultan also telephoned Prime Minister and conveyed his greetings on the advent of holy month of Ramadan.
