ISLAMABAD : Chinese Ambassador in Pakistan Mr. Liu Jian Tuesday called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
Matters relating to the bilateral relations and mutual cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
It may be mentioned that the second meeting of Pak-China Joint Energy Working Group is being held in Islamabad to discuss various energy related projects. The President also had a meeting yesterday with a delegation of Orient Group of China that was headed by its Chairman Mr. Zhang Hongwei.
The President during meeting appreciated Chinese assistance to Pakistan in the energy sector and overcoming the current energy crisis.
