Leaders vow to render all kind of sacrifices for Hazara province

Islamabad : Leaders of Tehrik Hazara province have vowed to render every kind of sacrifices for creation of Hazara province, saying it was their constitutional right.
Sardar Yousuf, Gohar Ayub, Yousuf Ayub, Syed Qasim Shah, Ijaz Khan, Naseer Jadoon, Jan Muhammad Qureshi, Sardar Israr and others while addressing a news conference here Monday at National Press Club said that movement of Hazara province was launched in 2010. They said that resolutions were tabled in the assemblies and also approved.
They said that Hazara province was their constitutional right, adding they should be given this right. They claimed they have rendered number of sacrifices for creation of Hazara province. They further said they fully enjoy the support of Nawaz Sharif and other political leaders. They said resolution for creation of Southern Punjab province, adding if the resolution of Hazara province was not approved then it would be a great injustice with them.
“We don’t want riots, we want whole this process should be done under democratic and constitution ambit”, they added. They warned to raise their voices on May 25-26 in front of Parliament House for their right. They added we were not against creation of other provinces, saying they should not be ignored. They warned to launch civil obedience movement if their demands are not met. They said that Pakistan is their own country and people of Hazara had rendered uncountable sacrifices for creation of Pakistan. They said creation of more provinces would further strengthen Pakistan.

To a question, Sardar Yousuf said that it was a public movement, adding people are the owners of this movement. Gohar Ayub Khan responding a query said that PML-N and PML-Q have assured their support while number of political parties are with them. He said there is a clause in the constitution that referendum could be held on public aspiration on such issue.
To another question, leaders of Hazara province said that there was no name of Saraikee province when they had launched the movement. They regretted that resolution to create Seraiki province was approved but injustice was being done with them.
