Baloch students will be provided an opportunity to seek quality education in Punjab, KPK, Islamabad: Nazar Gondal

ISLAMABAD, Federal minister for Capital Administration & Development (CAD), Nazar M. Gondal has said that efforts are underway to finalize and start the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Programme for the talented students of Balochistan province.

“Future of Balochistan is directly related with the quality of education imparted to the future leaders of that province. The Prime Minister was kind enough to announce the award of scholarships for the talented students of Balochistan. The number of students is also to be increased up to 500 per year as desired by the Prime Minister”, said the minister.

Mr. Gondal added that selecting equal number of students from each of the thirty districts of Balochistan will develop a core group of youth with a sound base in academics. He said that efforts are underway to make the project a permanent and everlasting programme.

The minister instructed for an early and transparent execution of the project.

The meeting was also attended by Secretary CAD, Imtiaz Inayat Elahi and other senior officials from Balochistan, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Information Technology.
