Islamabad : The semi finals of NBP Ranking Championship 2012 will be played today Monday at the DHA Creek Club Billiards Hall Karachi.
According to the issued press release the first semi final will be played between Mohammad Asif (Punjab) and Mohammad Majid (PUJ) on 9am. Shehram Changezi (Islamabad) will take on Asjad Iqbal (Punjab) in the second semi final soon after ending the first semi final.
The quarter s finals of championship were played on Sunday.
According to the issued results Mohammad Asif (Punjab) defeated Sultan Mohammad (Sindh) 5-1 (0-77(62), 80-17, 131-1(91), 79-27(70), 56-32, 59-36). Mohammad Majid (puj) defeated Mohammad Nazeer (puj) 5-3 (54-28, 70-31(50), 27-70, 38-66, 78-32, 60-67, 75-53, 83-58). Shehram Changezi (Islamabad) defeated Shahia Aftab (Puj) 5-4 (63-24, 55-29, 75-13, 61-51, 01-101(64), 43-67, 56-65, 17-62, 64-22). Asjad Iqbal (Punjab) defeated Mohammad Yousuf (puj) 5-2 (63-25, 73-24, 64-65, 63-57, 71-107, 77-7, 48-28).
The 4th NBP National Ranking Snooker Championship had stated on May 21. 41 cueists from across the country were fighting for top honours in the 7-day national event.
