Karachi : Pakistan Medical Association leaders Dr Samrina Hashmi and Dr Hadi Bux Jatoi have said that postings of already promoted doctors of BPS-19 in BPS- 20 are still awaited, and the health department should take efforts to post them on appropriate places soon.
In a joint statement issue here on Thursday, they demanded to fill all vacant posts of doctors and also give doctors due promotions. They demanded that doctors working on contract basis in different projects of the Health Department as well as in PPHI may be regularized. They said the incentives allowed by the Government (through Finance Department) like non Practicing Allowance, Casualty Allowance, Dangerous Diseases Allowance, Rural Allowance may be given immediately to all doctors of Sindh they said.
They said Health Insurance of all Health employees dealing with ailing humanity may be executed.
They reminded Secretary Health and additional Secretary had reassured the doctors that their problems will soon be sorted out after discussion with the Minister.
