Karachi : Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs Syed Faisal Ali Sabzwari Wednesday laid the foundation stone of a 20-room modern Girls Youth Hostel being built at a cost of Rs.25.256 million at Karachi University. The construction of hostel would be completed in three months.
The hostel is being built by Karachi University with the assistance of Sindh Youth Affairs Department.
Speaking on this occasion he said the hostel would provide accommodation facility to the girls of interior Sindh. He said the girls coming from interior of the province had to face big problem of accommodation during their studies in university.
This would a Visiting Girls Youth Hostel equipped with modern facilities, he added.
The hostel would have a library, study room, TV lounge, dining hall, visitors room, lawn and other facilities.
Vice Chancellor, KU, Dr. Muhammad Qaisar, Secretary Youth Affairs Shoaib Siddiqui and others were present.
