Karachi, Additional Inspector General Police Karachi Akhtar Hussain Gorchani Wednesday orders SSPs of all five districts of Karachi to beef up security around shrines, graveyards and worship places on the eve of Shab-e-Baraat.
He said all SHOs should ensure their presence in their respective areas and personally monitor the security arrangements. He said to restore the confidence of public flag marches should be arranged in all give districts. In this regards coordination should be ensured with rangers.
He said police should take foolproof steps that firecrackers are not sold in any part of the city and targeted actions should be planned in case of selling of firecrackers in any area.
