Karachi, Haleem Adil Shaikh, Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister, Thursday visited the house of heart patient girl Kiran Soomro in Gulshan-e-Hadeed and gave one hundred thousand rupees cash as financial assistance to her parents.
Kiran Soomro has a hole in her heart. She was taken to Islamabad few months back on the instructions of then Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani but returned without treatment.
Haleem Adil promised to talk to Deputy Prime Minister Pervez Illahi for sending Kiran to India for treatment on government expenses.
Advisor also visited Juma Himayati village where over 20 houses were under sewerage water. He distributed 50 water filters and ordered engineer of district council to arrange pipeline and drainout water immediately.
