Karachi : Muttahida Quami Movement MQM delegation led by member of its Co-ordination Committee Dr Sagheer Ahmed Thursday met Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry FPCCI President Haji Fazl Qadeer Khan and other members and discussed Karachi situation in detail and suggestions to control failing law and order situation in Karachi.
Views were obtained on formation of business forum suggested MQM leader Altaf Hussain, says MQM press release. FPCCI Vice President Iqbal Dawood Pakwala, SM Munir, Haji Shafique and other FPCCI members were present. MQM delegation included Sindh minister Abdur Rauf Siddiqui, Senator Abdul Haseeb, MPA Khawaja Izharul Hassan & Arshad Vohra.
MQM delegation told FPCCI members that extortion mafia was plotting against Pakistan and MQM would not let their conspiracy to succeed. Altaf Hussain had announced to place services MQM 100,000 workers at disposal of business community for giving them protection and security. MQM was always ready to help business community if they agreed with suggestion.
FPCCI members said MQM was only political party that had come to business community. They said criminal gangs, extortionists and terrorists could not operate freely without support from government agencies. They said extortion mafia was operating without any fear of law and situation worsening with each passing day, according to MQM press release.
