Karachi : Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that all administration of Sindh government had been made alert and taken at toes to maintain law and order and sanctity of Muharam-ul-Haram at any cost.
This he said while holding separate meetings with Ulma delegation belonging to Shias and Ahal-e-Sunat at CM House Karachi last night. Sindh Minister For Information Shajreel Enam Memon, Special Assistant to CM Rashid Hussain Rabani & Waqar Mehdi, Chief Secretary Sindh, Choudhary Muhammad Aijaz, Additional Chief Secretary Home Syed Mumtaz Shah, Inspector General Police Shahid Nadeem Baloch, Secretary to CM Naveed Kamran Baloch were also present.

Saghir Abidi, Shahbar Zaidi while Ahle Sunnat Ulma delegation consisted of Mufti Muneeb Rehman, Kokab Noorani, Syed Qamil Shah, Tanveer ul Haq Thanvi, Atif Ahmed and others.
The Sindh chief minister said that we all Muslims are one nation. “With love and following the Holy Prophet Hazrat
Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) we got this country independent with our unity, brotherhood and harmony and we don t allow any enemy to breach our brotherhood and unity.”
The conspiracies to fan the sectarian crises had been foiled in the past and the same should also be defeated in future with
exemplary brotherhood and unity among Shias and Ahl Sunat sects. The chief minister said that officers concerned had been directed to prepare foolproof security plan at provincial and district levels while they had beend instructed to ensure that routs of mourning processions are safe and secure.
He also directed the management of KESC to avoid from load shading strictly from sunsetting to early in morning and not only to facilitate Majlis and mourning processions but also avoid any eventuality of terrorist attempt of miscreants. He directed the officers to identify the sensitive areas with consultation of all stakeholders and make extraordinary measures to maintain law and order.
He said that we had taken extra ordinary actions against the terrorists under the targeted operation in Karachi in order to curb the criminal activities and added that force of Rangers would be used where it was needed. During the meeting, Inspector General of Police Sindh Shahid Nadeem Baloch informed that there were 1,548 Imambargahs in Sindh and 12,638 Majalis, 4,410
processions and 1,523 Tazia processions were expected to be organized, out of which 1,035 Majalis, 406 Matami processions and 26 Tazia processions had been declared most sensitive.
He informed that 65167 police personals will perform their duties to provide security throughout Sindh during the Muhram-ul-Haram among which 25,115 police personals to be deployed in Karachi range, 11,933 police personals in Hyderabad
range, 5204 in Mirpurkhas range, 11534 in Sukkur range and 7381 police personals in Larkana range.
