Karachi, President Pasban Altaf Shakoor has strongly condemned the ongoing talks between the Pakistan and US governments for the restoration of NATO supply routes through Pakistan.
In a statement here Tuesday, he said that the recent media reports clearly indicate the intentions of our government for restoration of supply routes.
He said civil & military leadership should remember that history will not forgive them for this and will never trust them in future. He also asked the Defa-e-Council leadership to show courage and take to streets to stop such efforts, as they have promised many times in the past in front of thousands of people.
He further said that US drone attacks, NATO supplies and Dr. Aafia’s illegal trial and wrongful sentencing of 86 years are the burning issues of the entire nation and the rulers must respect the wishes of the people and should not succumb to the US pressure.
