LAHORE : The legal fraternity here demanded on Saturday trial of former President Pervez Musharraf and other perpetrators of the May 12 mayhem during the visit of the then deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to Karachi in 2007.
This demand came at general house meeting at rally organized in connection with black day observed on completion of five years to the tragedy.
Flaying government for failing to arrest the culprits, they urged the Supreme Court to take notice on its own and ensure dispensation of justice to the families of 49 innocent people, including lawyers, political and civil society activists, who were killed in mayhem.
