Peshawar : On the eve of 59th birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Jamhuriat, Benazir Bhutto, a blood camp was held at Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar o n Thursday.
PPP Provincial President Senator Sardar Ali Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ministers Engr. Muhammad Humayun Khan, Salim Khan, MPAs Samiullah Khan Alizai, Noor-e-Sahar, former Town Nazim Haji Sharif and a large number of office bearers and workers participated and donated blood. On this occasion beside others Dr. Jehanzeb Khan was also present.
Later on, special prayers were offered for the eternal peace of Benazir Bhutto and development and solidarity of the country.
Meanwhile, on the directives of Minister Finance, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Humayun Khan, a similar blood camp was held at DHQ Hospital Batkhela, district Malakand, on the occasion of Benazir Bhutto birthday. A large number of PPP District Malakand office bearers and workers participated and donated their blood which would be transfused to poor and needy patients to help save their lives.
