jialas vow to fight against Bhutto’s opponents

Peshawar, Speakers at a seminar urged the leadership of Pakistan Peoples  Party (PPP) to follow the vision of late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and take solid steps for the welfare of poor class.

The seminar was organized by Peoples  Doctor Forum (PDF) Khyber Pakhtunhwa chapter on Thursday at Peshawar Press Club observing 35th death anniversary of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto as black day.

Those who spoke on the occasion were including Ayub Shah, PPP provincial information secretary, Zulfiqar Afghani, former PPP deputy general secretary, Azam Afridi, former district Nazim, Dr Nisar, provincial president of PDF, Ghani Gul Mehsood, Saeed Lala, Anwarzeb, Dr Mustafa Iqbal and Jahangir.

Dr Nisar said that through a conspiracy the regime of PPP founder and former prime minister late Zulfiqar Bhutto was derailed on 5th July 1977 and it had been tried to eliminate PPP and the mission which had been started by Bhutto.

He said  for the sake of  democracy  in Pakistan Bhutto s family  rendered their lives  adding they would carry  on  Bhutto mission and would struggle to defeat their opponents.

Azam Afridi said  after falling of Zulfiqar Bhutto government, the dictators  had  considered PPP will be finished and democracy will not survive  but with  the struggle PPP leadership  democracy and PPP both were stick together s in Pakistan.

Ayub Shah expressed  grave concern that former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Ghillani during his premiership  did not  pay heed towards the issues of PPP workers  in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which  created unrest among the party workers.
He maintained the PPP leaders during last four years did  not provide  relief to the  party workers  and they had been totally ignored even in PPP government. He said  party  leaders had forgotten the party manifestos and  they been busy in personal interests.

Jahangir said that the PPP Khyber Pakhtnkhwa leadership had neglected the philosophy of Bhutto and less bother to solve the workers  issues, adding that the leaderships were busy in their luxuries. He appealed to party leadership to unite under an umbrella and eliminate group making in the party.

Expressing grave concern over the visit of Prime Minister Raja Parvaiz Ashraf to Peshawar, Zulfiqar Afghani said that the Prime Minister had remained his visit to Governor and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and did not meet with the party workers.

Ghani Gul Mehsood said that due to ignorance of the workers by party leadership, Peoples  Student Federation (PSF), Peoples  Youth Organization and youth wing in the province were losing its status. He added that there was no party free from corruption.
