Peshawar ,Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Fata chapter on Friday held protest demonstration against prolong outage and drone attacks and condemned the hours long break down of power in Fata.
Holding banners and placards inscribed with anti-US slogans as well as against the suspension of electricity, the protesting demonstrators chanting slogans in favour of their demands and marched on Sher Shah Suri road outside Peshawar Press Club.
Naeem Ullah, general secretary, PML-Q Fata chapter, who led the demonstrators, told reporters that tribesmen had already been passing through a difficult phase of life while the electricity loadshedding had made the life further miserable for them.
Innocent people including children, women and aged persons, he said were being killed in US drone strikes which were against the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan.
Similarly, he added that Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) were backward and deprived of the basic needs of life as compared to other parts of the country, therefore government should take tangible steps and lunch developmental schemes and projects to put the areas on the path of progress.
Besides, he appealed to the rulers of all Muslims countries to raise voice against the brutal killing of Burmese Muslims and put pressure on Burma government to halt the killing of innocent Muslims.
