This was stated by Chairman of sub-committee and Federal Defense Minister Syed Naveed Qamar at news conference in Quetta along with other members including Law Minister Farooq H. Naek and Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira.
He said, “We had free, frank exchange of views on law and order situation in the province issue of missing persons, implementation status of National Finance Commission NFC Aghaz Haqooq-e-Balochistan and job opportunities especially for educated youth.” He said Committee members would meet more people in order to formulate concrete recommendations for submission to the Federal Cabinet.
Minister said PPP government took number of initiatives but acknowledged these were not enough to take care of the sense of deprivation among the people spreading over 60 years. More needs to be done to address challenges facing the province, he observed.
Naveed Qamar said they also discussed the role of FC and intelligence agencies personnel in the province and the need for more coordination among them.
