President AJK arrives Quetta on 2-day visit

QUETTA ,President AJK Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan arrived here Tuesday on a 2-day visit.
He was accorded warm welcome by provincial ministers, senior officers and large number of Kashmiris living here.
He drove to Governor House in a big procession form Airport. He held a detailed meeting with Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi. They exchanged views on problems of Kashmiris living in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan, provision of compensation on just basis for people affected form target killing, admission of girl and boy students in educational institutions, rehabilitation at Kashmir Colony, implementation of Kashmir quota in government jobs.

President AJK told Balochistan Governor that recently quota has been reserved for students form Balochistan at the three medical colleges and Mirpur University of Science and Technology. Students from this province can acquire education in a peaceful atmosphere there.

Appreciating this step Governor Magsi said if students would go to Kashmir educational institutions our relations would further cemented. He said people of Balochistan have been supporting freedom of people of Kashmir for past 64 years and for this India was playing role for creating disturbance in the province. Concrete proofs are available in this regard, he added. He assured steps would be taken for resolving problems of Kashmiris living in Balochistan.

He said situation in Balochistan is not so worsened as being projected. Some young men sitting outside the country and making propaganda they have no support of the people. He said mega projects were suspended for not release of timely funds.

President AJK said steps are needed to remove sense of deprivation of Balochistan. Past excesses should also be removed.
VISITS FC:  During his visit to headquarters Frontier r Corps Balochistan, he said that Balochistan is heart of Pakistan and no one can separate it from Pakistan. He said situation in Balochistan is not so bad. Propaganda of foreign and country’s media is baseless. Infact foreign forces are eyeing on mineral resources and coastal areas and they were making propaganda.
