Balochistan Cabinet

QUETTA :  Balochistan cabinet with Chief Minsiter Nawab Aslam Raisani at its session here Monday accorded approval for the provincial budget 2012-13. Balochistan Chief Secretary Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad was also present.
Members of the cabinet termed presentation of balanced budget as another success of the coalition government. Parliamentary leaders of all coalition partners appreciated leadership qualities of the Chief Minsiter and said that despite law and order and other challenges presenting a balanced budget is reflection of Chief Minister s wisdom and high caliber. They said present government was presenting fifth budget speaks of its success.
Senior Minsiter Maulana Abdul Wasay, provincial ministers Syed Ehsan Shah, Muhammad Asim Kurd Galloo, Abdul Rehman Jamali, Begum Parveen Magsi, Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Zamrak Khan Achakzai and Abdul Khaliq Bashar Dost said that Chief Minsiter takes all h is colleagues into confidence for which they were thankful to him.
Provincial Minsiter Sardar Sanaullah Zehri recouting important successes of the government said that provincial government by eliminating remnants of General Musharraf restored Levies Force and Commissionerate system which is definitely a important headway.
Addressing the cabinet Chief Minsiter said all the parties in the coalition government are like a family. He said his strength was confidence of his colleages in him.
He said members of cabinet they way supported him enabled us to win success in NFC award and other matters.
Earlier Secretary Finance briefed the cabinet about budget 2012-13 and Additional Chief Secretary Development about Annual Development Programme.
Secretary Finance told that State Bnak overdraft has ended while Cash Development loan is at the level of zero. He said from additional income of Rupees 5 billion of the province treasury bills have been purchased which would have Rupees 880 million profit annually. Provincial own resources have gone over 5 billion rupees. He said owing to financial discipline in the province, better utilization of resources has been ensured and it helped to obtained additional resources. He said State Bank and other impartial financial institutions have praised financial discipline of Balochistan in their reports.
He said due to 20 percent increase in govt employees salaries provincial kitty would have to bear Rupees 6.75 billion rupees additional burden.
