Karachi : A 32-member delegation of Thailand students visited Karachi University here Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qaiser said Pakistan and Thailand share strong trade relationship based on mutual trust. He said these ties can be more strengthened by enhancing the academic ties between both the countries, adding bilateral exchange of students between Pakistan and Thailand will prove to be beneficial in every respect.
The visit of Thai students studying in Islamic International University, Islamabad was arranged by the Thai Embassy Islamabad.
A detailed presentation about the University’s academic facts was given to the students, who were also updated about the International Students’ Admission criteria.
The delegation was later taken to Dr. A. Q. Khan Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Botanical Garden.
After visiting the University’s departments, the students showed interest in taking admission in KU.
Registrar Prof. Dr. Nasiruddin Khan and Students’ Advisor Prof. Dr. Anser Rizwi were also present.
