Karachi, The Board of Secondary Education Karachi declared on Monday the result of SSC Part-II Class X Annual Examination 2012 (Science Group) according to which 90, 996 candidates have passed in different grades out of 128, 361 appeared in the examination.
A total of 14, 300 candidates passed in A-1 grade, 23967 in A grade, 26429 in B grade, 19443 in C grade, 6460 in D grade and 93 in E grade. Moreover 304 candidates passed in additional subjects. The pass percentage stood 70.89.
The gender-wise statistics say that 72056 boys and 56305 girls appeared in examination and 50805 boys and 40191 girls passed. The number of boys who passed in A-1 grade is 5425 while that of girls 8875.
The BSEK also announced result of SSC Part-I and II Class IX and X Annual Examination 2012 (Deaf Candidates).
According to notification Batool Ashfaq d/o Muhammad Ashfaq Qureshi, roll 1315, Dewa Academy, got 774 marks and was declared first, Hira Siddiqui d/o Arshad Siddiqui, roll 1314, Dewa Academy, secured 773 marks and stood second while Yusra Tanveer d/o Tanveer Ahmed, roll 1318 and Syed Bilal Asif s/o Syed Asif Ali, roll 1031, both of Dewa Academy, got 770 marks and got third position.
