Hyderabad : A meeting of admission committee headed by Vice Chancellor of University of Sindh Dr. Nazir A. Mughal has announced not to increase the admission fees in all the departments/ disciplines of the university.
The agenda of the meeting was approving calendar for the year 2013 and revision of fees for the year 2013.
The meeting noed that owing to natural calamities in Sindh during 2010 and 2011, the people are suffering from financial problems yet, so the fees for the year 2013 will not be increased for Admission.
On the occasion deans of all faculties to find out a way to conduct the midterm tests within 3 days instead of a week adding that midterm results to be announced in 3 days and copies of the results of the tests shall be sent to the controller of Examination.
The Vice Chancellor directed to run a semester for the period of 18 weeks and semester exams to be held within 15 days to save the time. He said students who did not obtain 1.75 GPA in 2 semesters will not be promoted to the next semester.
