Karachi, The Department of Youth Affairs, Government of Sindh and Habib University Foundation will organize an event on 12th August, 2012, at Karachi, to celebrate the International Youth Day.
The celebration of this Day was pioneered by the Youth Affairs Department and the Habib University Foundation collaboratively, and has been held for four consecutive years with great zeal. Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari, Minister for Youth Affairs will be the Chief Guest of the event.
The theme of the day as declared by the UNO is Building a Better World: partnering with Youth . The event will engage young people in reflecting on their key issues, and how they can overcome these challenges. The event will also invite young achievers for acknowledgement of their talents and efforts. Various youth projects being run by the Department of Youth Affairs, Government of Sindh will also be showcased to share the information and success stories of these projects for youth development in Sindh.
