Karachi : University of Karachi despite its financial problems is assisting its students in the form of scholarships on need-cum-merit basis, said Vice Chancellor, KU, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qaisar addressing a scholarship cheque distribution ceremony at campus on Tuesday.
Director Student Financial Aid Office- Prof. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan organized the ceremony in collaboration with Mitsubishi Corporation.
Kimihide Ando – General Manager Mitsubishi Corporation said that Pakistan is one of those countries, where students are given economic assistance by Japan to help in attaining higher education.
University of Karachi is the only institution of the country which has set up a separate Student’s Financial Aid Office for assistance to its students.
