Karachi : On the occasion of the homecoming of Dr. Khalil Chishti – Pakistan’s first virologist, the Vice Chancellor, KU, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qaisar congratulated entire Pakistan specifically the Chishti family.
In this connection, faculty members and Chairperson of the Department of Microbiology Prof. Dr. Shahana Urooj Kazmi gathered to celebrate this great news of their teacher being released. They expressed gratitude to all who played role in release of Dr. Chishti.
On this occasion, Dr. Aysha, Dr. Chihti’s daughter said that the entire Pakistani nation stood together for the release of her father. She appreciated the effort made by the students and faculty members of University of Karachi who raised their voices for the release of Dr. Chishti.
During the event, sweets were also distributed, as a token of celebration.
