KARACHI : Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), all the faculty members, professors and teaching staff have been deeply shocked and saddened over the news of murder of neurosurgeon Dr Aftab
Qureshi, kidnapped last week from Karachi.
In a press release issued by the University, Dow University has strongly condemned the killing of Neurosurgeon Dr. Aftab Qureshi here on Wednesday.
Repeated incidents of doctor’s murders and kidnapping have created panic among the doctors engaged in service of ailing patients. One of the main causes of brain drain to overseas sister institutions is also the insecurity of medical professionals.
The University demands the government to take immediate necessary action and demanded thoroughly investigation and the culprits be brought to the court of justice.
