Srinagar:In occupied Kashmir, liberation leader, Javed Ahmad Mir has said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will not go waste as the people of Kashmir are determined to continue their struggle till its logical conclusion.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Javed Ahmad Mir addressing a gathering at Martyrs Graveyard in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to Ashfaq Majid Wani, advocate Jalil Andrabi, Shabbir Ahmad Sidiqui and Dr Abdul Ahad Guruy on their respective martyrdom anniversaries.
He added no peace is possible in the region without settlement of Kashmir dispute in accordance with aspirations of the Kashmiris.
On the occasion, special prayers were offered for all the martyrs including Ashfaq Wani, Jalil Andrabi, Shabbir Ahmad Sidiqui, Dr Abdul Ahad Guru, Javid Ahmad Shalla, Muhammad Sidiq Sofi and Muhammad Yousuf Beigh.
Meanwhile, Javed Ahmad Mir also condemned the recent attack on the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader Syed Ali Gilani by the Hindu extremists in New Delhi.
