MUZAFFARABAD, Speaker Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly, Sardar Ghulam Sadiq Khan said that Prime Minister of AJK, Chaudhry Abdul Majeed would address a historical public gathering here in Hijra on May 07.
He said this here while talking to media representatives here on Friday and added that preparations were being given final touches in this regard in order to make it a historical gathering.
The Speaker has said that Pakistan People s Party (PPP) firmly believed in democratic principles and always respected the court verdicts, as the party always held the apex court in high esteem.
He said that PPP always fought for people s rights and would keep on its struggle for resolution of the masses problems in future as well, adding that the party leadership and workers hopeful of getting justice from the apex court.
Sadiq said that PPP AJK has taken exemplary steps for the uplift and development of the areas in short span of time, adding that effective measures are being taken for the establishment of three medical colleges, Women University, Punch University along with others mega projects.
He assured that the upcoming budget would be in accordance with people aspirations so that the masses problems could be resolved at their door steps, adding that efforts were being made to ensure completion of roads linking various districts to facilitate the commuters.
