MUZAFFARABAD,- Speaker Legislative Assembly Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Ghulam Sadiq Khan has said that Pakistan People s Party (PPP) being the party of the poor is always fighting for the rights and wellbeing of the poor and labours.
He said this while addressing a program organized in connection with May Day observed across the world on Tuesday.
Sadiq said that the role played by the labours in making the PPP one of the most popular party of the country would always be remembered and be written in golden words, adding that at present all the success achieved by the world is possible because of the blood and sweat of the labours.
He said that unforgettable struggles and sacrifices made by the labours in 1886 is also a source of inspiration for labour community of Pakistan that instigates them to fight for their due rights.
He has claimed that it is fact that whenever the PPP comes into power it always restores hundred of thousands of sacked employees, vowing that the PPP would always stands by the workers for their fight against exploitation and coercion at the hands of feudals, landlords and industrialists.
