Pakistan says progress made in talks with US for normalizing ties, no final decision taken on NATO supplies resumption

Islamabad, Pakistan on Monday said that “positive progress” has been made for the restoration of normal relations with the United States but “no final decision has yet been taken” on the resumption of NATO supplies.

Foreign Office spokesman Moazzam Khan said it was desire of both the countries to normalize their relations at the earliest. United States has held talks with Pakistani military and political leadership on various issues including NATO supplies through Pakistan and Salala check post November 2011 incident.

Spokesman hoped that both the sides would be able to resolve issues in order to bring the relations normal.
