JI demands solving problems of young doctors

Lahore :  Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan has expressed his deep concern over Young Doctors  strike and demanded of both the parties Punjab government and doctors to immediately resolve the issue in order to provide relief to the poor masses.

In a statement issued here at Mansoora on Monday, he demanded of the government to release the arrested doctors and restore them at their job at the earliest.

He said the provincial government had mishandled the situation and thus worsened the situation while the poor people had become a sandwich between the government and the doctors.

He said the doctors were true to their demands as far as service structure was concerned but they must serve the downtrodden people in respect of their holy profession.

He deplored that Punjab government had adopted the wrong path of violence, apprehension and dismissal of doctors instead of listening and solving their problems.

He laid emphasize on the provincial government that it must fulfill its promises it made a year ago to the doctors with regard to service structure in order to avoid any further delay in solving the serious issue.
