Peshawar:Pakistan Muslim-League-Quaid (PML-Q) Provincial Chief Syed Qasim Shah urged the Muslims Umma to forge unity to foil conspiracy being hatched against Islam. Addressing a press conference here at press club on Saturday, he said that the disrespected movie is an attempt to defame Islam, which hurt the sentiments of the Muslims around the world saying we could never tolerate insult of our Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Qasim shah who was flanked by provincial general secretary of the party Intikhab Khan Chamkani, said Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam but West and America were trying to enforce their own policy and culture in our country.
He said to register protest was our right against the defamatory film by the American civilians but it did not mean to ransack the private and public properties adding that peaceful agitation is sign of the civilized nations record their protest in peaceful manner. He said by practicing the Sunnat of Muhammad (S.A.W.W) we not could express our love with our Prophet but also give best answer to those who made the blasphemous film. On the occasion, Gohar Zaman Khattak, a Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) PK-15 Nowshera General secretary along with his team announced their resignation from the party and joined the PML-Q.
