Islamabad, Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik Monday advised veteran politician and head of PML-N, Mian Sharif to refrain becoming a judge as he was a politician.
Talking to media persons here, he asked the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take Suo-motu notice of Mian Nawaz Sharif’s statements. He said Prime Minister’s case is still before the court and he has not been declared disqualified therefore PML-N Chief should not try to mislead the nation and wait for five years.
Rehman Malik alleged that Nawaz Sharif mocking the law, adding efforts were on to mislead the nation. Mehran Bank scandal could not be dumped by making noise, he added. He said till the decision of appeal the Prime Minister will continue to hold office.
Lashing out at the Chief Minister Punjab, he alleged that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was using government resources to create uprising in Punjab, added that, Shahbaz Sharif being committed to revolt. ” I will unveil corruption of Sharif brothers before the masses every week”, he warned. He said Sharif brothers introduced new ways in money laundering.
Before the Interpol may intervene in the matter, Sharif bothers should take back the looted money, he said, adding Sharif bothers are propagating against load-shedding and PM to hide their corruption. He added that books on international level has been written on Sharif Brothers’ money laundering.
He also alleged that they destroyed worth billion of rupees of nation through ‘Sasti Roti’ and ‘Laptop’ schemes. He said Laptops given to students by Punjab government are being sold in the markets. He said crores of rupees were put in the pockets from the purchase of laptops.
He added Shahbaz Sharif would gain nothing by hatching conspiracies against the federation. He alleged that CM Punjab used government resources to launch protests in the seven districts against the federation. He said, “We will go to masses instead of courts”.
Interior Minister warns of stern action against Sheesha smokers. He said that restaurants would remain open till 12 p.m in the residential areas. He warned to close down restaurants in the residential areas of Islamabad within four weeks.
He said Visa policy is being reviewed. Talking about the Prime Minister’s recent visit to UK, he aid a rousing welcome was accorded to the Prime Minister. He said British PM said that enemy of Pakistan is our enemy. He said Justice (r) Khawajd Sharif attack case has been completed by the commission and soon a case would be registered against those who involved in the incident.
