Karachi, After winding up his party- Sindh National Front, and joining Pakistan Muslim League (N) on May 09n last, Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has started contacting anti-PPP forces of the province to seek their support for the PML-N s movement launched against the present rulers.
While the PML-N chief Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is visiting upper Sindh areas like Shikarpur, Mumtaz Ali Bhutto reached Karachi last night and proceeded to Thatta district of lower Sindh to hold meetings with politicians who had been opposed to the PPP.
In Thatta, Mumtaz Bhutto invited Sheerazi brothers former District Nazim Shafqaut Shah Sheerazi, MNA Ayaz Shah Sheerazi and MPA Shah Hussain Shah to join PML-N. Some sources in Thatta told PPI that the Sheerazi brothers sought some time to consult with MPA Muhammad Ali Malkani before taking any decision. However, sources close to Mumtaz Bhutto said the Sheerazi brothers agreed to join PML-N and would announce formally in a public meeting in Thatta in the presence of Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mumtaz Bhutto.
Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, who also offered condolence to the Sheerazi brothers on the demise of their cousin Akram Shah, later returned to Karachi from where he would soon embark on tour of Badin, Tando Muhammad Khan, Hyderabad and other districts.
Sources said Irfan Gul Magsi of Hyderabad, Maqbool Shaikh of Shikarpur, Mahar brothers of Ghotki, Sardar Khan Chandio of Qambar Shahdadkot and many others were in close contact with Mumtaz Ali Bhutto.
