Minister In-charge for National Harmony Dr. Paul Bhatti has urged the minority parliamentarians to work jointly for the protection of the minorities’ rights.
Dr. Paul was addressing a reception hosted by him in the honour of the parliamentarians of minority community to discuss the issues of minorities and their solution.
Dr. Paul said the government has empowered the minorities by giving them representation in the Senate as well following the efforts of Ex-Federal Minister for Minorities Late Shahbaz Bhatti. Now it is the time we should play role of our part to work hard to bring the minorities in the main stream of the society.
They discussed the future plans about the upcoming elections in the country. They also shared views recording election system and its process.
Members of National Assembly (MNAs) who attended the dinner include Dr. Khatu Mal, Ramesh Lal, Lal Chand, Dr. Mahesh, Dr. Araish, Kishan Chand Parwani and Asia Nasir.
