Karachi, Diya Star Women FC beat recorded a formidable 7-0 triumph against TC Women FC in 5th National Inter-Club Women Football Championship here Friday at KPT Football Stadium.
With the win, Diya Star has earned its place in the eighth edition of National Women Football Championship from Group A.
Kiran Ali knocked a hat-trick while Afshan Altaf braced and Rukhsar Rashid and Hajra Khan scored one goal each for the victors in the match.
In spite of a lackluster show against Diya Star, TC Women has also have qualified for National Women Footballs Championship from Group B.
Meanwhile, the match between Young Islamia Women FC and Islamia Sports Science Women FC ended in a barren draw at Higher Secondary School Ground in Bahawalpur.
