Karachi : Malik Hamza and Hania Naveed clinched men s and women s singles titles respectively in the Independence Day Tennis Championship, which concluded here Thursday at bath Island Club.
Malik Hamza found little resistance from Fahim Ramzan in the summit clash of men s singles event and was lead the match 6-2, 5-0 when Fahim retired from the match.
Meanwhile, Hania Naveed thrashed Neha Khan 6-2, 6-0 to secure the title.
Muhammed Ahmed Ehtisham defeated Waqas Bhutto 8-3 to claim U11 singles title.
